Decorating the Yule Tree!!!!

Last weekend, Brett actually had the day off!  We decided it would be a good weekend to get some holiday things done.  The kids went out with daddy and did some shopping and brought home our Yule tree.  Then we were off to our towns holiday party where Father Christmas surprised everyone by showing up on a fire truck.  Then we had gluten free Chinese food and finally tree decorating time!

 These photos above are from the town holiday party.  The kids chose not to meet Santa.  I am proud to say I am not one of those mother's who force their terrified, screaming children to sit on a strangers lap for a photo op.  We have witnessed that and it is very hard to watch.  The kids even get upset by it.
