Latest knitting project

So here is my latest knitting project that was started on Tuesday.  I am attempting a sweater for my 1 year old nephew.  This will be my first sweater.  I figured it would be best to start on a small sweater that uses a fairly inexpensive yarn to try first.  The sweater I am going to make for myself needs 9 skeins of a higher end yarn.  I definitely want to practice first!

Here is a picture of what the sweater should look like when I am done.  I went with yarn that has various shades of green through out it. It  is a little hard to see all the shades of green due to the blue yarn sock over it, but it is a really pretty skein of yarn.  I look forward to eventually getting a picture up with the finished product and my nephew modelling it.
